James was a farmer and lived at Little Sion Farm, up to 1795. Married Mary Smith by licence at Shorditch, London, June 15, 1784. She was the widow of a Mr. Smith, once Mayor of Richmond. James is buried in All Saint's Churchyard, Isleworth, Middlesex.
