Sir John Knyvett, (also spelt Knivett), Knight of the Bath was the Captain of a Foot Company. He died February 15 1689 in Ireland.

Copy of will of Sir John Rous of Henham, baronet, dated October 12, 1670. All lands and tenements, except copyhold marsh ground called Subborn Marshes, to John Rous, his only son, but during his minority Sir John Knivett, Knight of the Bath, Thomas Leman of Wenhaston, Esq., and Thomas Dey of Eye, Esq., to act as trustees. Subborne Marshes to be sold to provide portions for Katherine and Letitia, his daughters. Proved May 31, 1671, (c1671).
